What tracking measures
Tracking is the process of running a defined set of category-relevant prompts through each AI model on a daily basis and scoring whether your brand appears in the response. Each prompt gets a binary result — mentioned or not mentioned — and those results roll up into a visibility score per model and a blended score across all models. Over time, those daily scores form a trend line. That trend line is the clearest signal in GEO: it tells you whether your brand is becoming more or less trusted by AI, and it shows you when a specific action — a new piece of content, a press placement, a Reddit thread — appears to have made a difference. Why daily cadence matters
AI models are not static. They update their knowledge, refine their behavior, and shift which sources they trust on a cadence that no one outside the model providers fully controls. Weekly or monthly snapshots miss the inflection points that matter most: the day a competitor earned a major press placement, the week a model started behaving differently after a training update, the moment a piece of content you published began surfacing in answers. Daily tracking gives you the resolution to act on signals while they’re fresh rather than discovering a trend weeks after it started.Supported models
Peakmark tracks your brand’s visibility across the four AI models that drive the largest share of AI-powered search and research today, with additional models available for broader coverage.ChatGPT
OpenAI’s flagship model, used by 900M+ people every week. The default benchmark for AI visibility in most categories.
Claude
Anthropic’s model, widely used for research-oriented queries and increasingly popular for business buying decisions.
Gemini
Google’s AI, integrated into Search and Workspace. Cites a distinct set of sources from other models, making separate tracking valuable.
Perplexity
The AI search engine that surfaces citations most explicitly — a key model for understanding which sources drive AI recommendations.
What the tracking dashboard shows
Visibility trend line
The primary chart on your tracking dashboard plots your brand’s mention rate over time for each model. You can view all models on the same chart to compare trajectories, or isolate a single model to examine a specific period in detail. The trend line is your top-level answer to “is GEO working?”Per-model breakdown
Each model is tracked and scored independently. Your brand may appear in 70% of prompts on Perplexity but only 30% on Gemini — a split that would be invisible in any blended score. The per-model breakdown surfaces exactly where you’re strong and where the largest gaps exist, so you can focus effort where it returns the most.Daily detail view
Every tracking day is clickable. Select any date and you’ll see the full breakdown for that day: which prompts mentioned your brand, which didn’t, and the score for each model. This is the entry point into the prompt evidence layer, where you can read the exact AI response behind any result. How prompts are selected
Peakmark builds your prompt set from the questions your buyers actually ask AI models when researching your category. These are not keyword-stuffed queries — they mirror natural language the way a real buyer would phrase it:
Prompts are scoped to your product category and region during onboarding. The more accurately your prompt set reflects how buyers describe their needs, the more meaningful your visibility score becomes.
